Club Activities:
Participation in Obedience and Rally demonstrations at various locations including the Big E, pet therapy visits to local convalescent homes, information booths at fund raising events, trophies and staffing for the Obedience rings at the 1st Company Foot Guard Show, support for the Fidelco Walk and a local parade.

January:
- Canine Good Citizen Test to be held at the 1st Co Governor's Foot Guard Armory, High St, Hartford,CT
on January 8th, 2012.
Entries taken from 9am - 11am, Judging begins at 9:30am. Fee is $10 per dog.
February:
The 1st Company Governors Foot Guard Show will be held on February 19th, 2012 at the XL Center (formerly the Civic Center) HOTC provides trophy donations and staffing of the obedience rings.
March:
Spring Luncheon for members
April:
Member Appreciation Day: Members participate in a picnic and activities with their dogs.
May: Match on Saturday May 28th Tolland Agriculture Center Tolland,Ct Canine Good Citizen Test 11am-3pm
September:
- Fall Picnic, a traditional picnic and fun day for members. The Club provides hot dogs and beverages. Club members are encouraged to make their favorite recipes to share.
- Obedience demonstrations at the BigE West Springfield MA September 2012.
October:
- Blessing of the Animals at the Elmwood Community Church
- Members march in the West Hartford, Park Road Parade: October 6th. Over a hundred groups participate in this annual parade. In 2006, the Club was awarded a certificate and trophy for "most unique group"
- Fall Brunch, a very popular social gathering held at local restaurant.
- Annual Halloween Costume Party for members and their dogs.
December:
- HOTC Awards Banquet and Holiday Party.
- Canine Holiday Party with games & "pictures with Santa".
